Watch Over Me
The symbol of “home” as sculptural form relates to our human need for security and sense of belonging. Home can represent varying ideas such as shelter, security, secrecy, family, comfort, or lack thereof. “The home” with these universal messages has been placed within a mystical environmental stage. Each cast and fused glass vignette incorporates layers of printed imagery, metal inclusions, glass powders and frits as well as designs with symbolic implications on a cast glass base.
