As a woman, beyond middle age but not yet elderly, I spend more and more time looking back, reviewing and reminiscing my life's events and relationships. I remember and re-imagine places, situations and people from my childhood. I believe our first memories of home help form our personal story, with many memories flowing together to form a layered portrait. My artistic account evolves from many of these memories and then re-envisions them in kilnformed glass. The memories are fluid and changing as the artistic process itself.
