Glass Moire

The term "moire" is related to the rippling effect of silk fabric that has been subjected to heat. That rippling appearance in the silky sheen has been the influence in my glass technique.  This body of work is vibrant with translucent color; tactile as the ripples of silk and flow as if blown by the wind.  It reveals an abstraction of nature.  These large panels are meant to be added directly into the exterior landscape as a hard-scaping element that blends with their surroundings.
