Basic Fusing Course & Beyond Basics

September 8, 15, and 22, 2024
Alice teaches this three week course which is designed to give students the experience of cutting, slumping, constructing and fusing with glass at her studio in Rhode Island. You will make a project each week that will teach you about various processes and give you various projects to take home. This workshop is at 5580 Post Rd, East Greenwich, RI studio and is offered at various times throughout the year. Photo Collage in Glass

Unlock the art of screen printing on glass in this hands-on, two session class. You will have the opportunity to create your own silk screen from a photo or other image. Learn how to transfer your photo, along with designs and patterns onto glass surfaces. Certified glass instructor, Alice Gebhart will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you gain the skills and confidence to produce your own printed glass artwork. Building a Glass Forest:
A Live Zoom Masterclass with Alice Benvie Gebhart

September 14, 21, and 28th, 2024
This Zoom class is 3 sessions long, once a week and limited to 25 students. Class times will be 1 and 1/2 hours at a set time each week. You will have the opportunity to take part in a lesson, view a demonstration, and ask questions. The classes will be set up so you can complete a step-by-step project, from start to finish, within the 3 session time frame. The classes will be recorded and you will have access to the recording for a limited time. As a class participant, you will also have the opportunity to join a private facebook group. This group will be monitored by Alice and you will be encouraged to share your work, ask questions and share ideas. PLEASE NOTE: THE RECORDING OPPORTUNITY IS RESERVED FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE ZOOM CLASS AND WISH TO REFRESH THEIR EXPERIENCE.
