The fused-glass panel is a one-of-a-kind original and constructed with overlapping glass pieces onto aluminum. All the color comes from layering cut glass then firing the glass in a kiln. This piece has been processed multiple times in the kiln, giving the work depth and dimension with a clear and textural border. Gesture lines in gold and black are fired into the glass surface to add detail and movement. The piece is displayed using a brushed aluminum base, ready for hanging. The base is made to be projected slightly from the wall to add to the dimensional look. The glass panel measures approximately 9" x 9" and is placed on the aluminum to reflect the silvery surface.
